When can I start a driving course for “B” category?

To start a driving course for “B” category, you must be 17 years and 9 months old.

When can I take a practical exam before the State Automobile Inspectorate?

You can take a practical exam after the age of 18.

What documents do I need to issue a Driving License from the Traffic Police?

For the initial issuance of a driving license you need:

  • ID;
  • document for paid fee;
  • medical certificate for “B” category;
  • certificate for completed course for pre-medical care from the Bulgarian Red Cross;
  • certificate of completed minimum primary education (original and copy);

Can I pay the installment rate?

Yes, the course can be paid in 2 or 3 installments, as convenient for the student.

Can I drive on Saturday and Sunday?

Yes. The driving schedule is made depending on the desire and abilities of the students, in accordance with the free hours of the instructors. By regulation, each instructor must rest at least one day a week.

What should I do after successfully passing the exams before the State Automobile Inspectorate?

Three working days after successfully passing the exam and after passing a course at the Bulgarian Red Cross for first aid to road accident victims, you can submit documents for the issuance of a Driving License.

When should I take a course to the Bulgarian Red Cross to provide first aid to road accident victims?

The course can be taken during or after the completion of the driving course.

The courses at the Bulgarian Red Cross are held once (one day).
